Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In my practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to their emotional distress. Through structured sessions, we explore the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, enabling clients to develop healthier perspectives. By implementing practical strategies and coping skills, clients learn to reframe negative thoughts and engage in more positive actions, ultimately fostering greater emotional well-being and resilience.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a structured therapy that helps you process painful memories and experiences so they no longer feel overwhelming or present-day. We will gently revisit those experiences while using bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements, tapping, or sounds) to help your brain reprocess and release them. In our work together, I’ll guide you through each phase of the EMDR process at your own pace. We will identify the experiences that feel unresolved or distressing, build up your internal resources and sense of safety, and process the memory with support.
Person-Centered (Rogerian)
I offer a Person-centered approach that creates a warm, supportive space where clients feel seen and understood. My clients will gain practical tools, build confidence, and develop stronger emotional regulation skills. My goal is to support each individual’s growth and resilience while empowering them to become the authors of their own life story.
